"Do you know something else I like about dogs," I asked my husband, rubbing Jasmine's face and ears as she slept by me on the sofa.
"No. What?"
"You can rub them and move them and talk to them while they sleep and they never say, 'leave me alone, I'm sleeping, stop bothering me.' They just love us that much...."
